Senior VP of Legislative Affairs for California Building Industry Association (CBIA), Michael represents the membership before the California State Legislature, the Governor’s Office, and other state agencies, advocating for the homebuilding industry and for increased homeownership opportunities. A veteran of housing finance, insurance and community development policy in California, Michael also serves as a gubernatorial appointee to the California Housing Financing Agency.
